Models

Training “a la carte”, many models of ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke are available in mice and rats.

  • Thromboembolic stroke (thrombin)
  • Thrombotic stroke (FeCl3)
  • Transient model (filament)
  • Permanent model (electrocoagulation)
  • Intracerebral hemorrhage (collagenase)
  • Intraventricular  hemorrhage (collagenase)
  •  Aneurism model (mice only)

Material

  • 3 surgical theaters fully equipped (anesthetic system, stereotaxic devices, heating pads …)
  • Stereomicroscopes equipped with video system for easy demonstration and learning

Staff

  • 1 Professor, 1 Assistant Professor, 1 engineer, 2 technicians
